Steps to getting ZURZUVAE

I was prescribed ZURZUVAE® (zuranolone), and I worked with the specialty pharmacy to get my medication delivered.

I’m here to share the 3 steps to getting ZURZUVAE.

First, your healthcare provider will send your ZURZUVAE prescription to the specialty pharmacy.

When I started this process, I learned that ZURZUVAE is stocked at a specialty pharmacy instead of your local retail pharmacy.

Next, for step 2, the specialty pharmacy will call or text you to confirm your prescription. It may show up as an unknown number when they contact you.

It might take some time for your medication to arrive. Women usually get ZURZUVAE delivered in about a week.

So, make sure to keep an eye out for a call or text so they can ship your medication right away.

Lastly, for step 3, your medication is shipped directly to you.

If you have questions about your shipment, you can call your specialty pharmacy to confirm its delivery status.

When they deliver ZURZUVAE, you or someone who is 18 years or older will need to show an ID and sign for the package.

Step 3: Receive your medication

When your insurance approves ZURZUVAE, your medication will be shipped directly to you. It will take about a week for you to receive ZURZUVAE after it has been prescribed, though shipment times may vary. A signature by someone age 18 or older is required, as well as proof of identity.

ZURZUVAE is only available from a specialty pharmacy and will be shipped to you directly because it is not stocked at your local retail pharmacy. The specialty pharmacy will work with you and your healthcare provider to make sure you receive your treatment.
